Explosives ground

OBJECTIVE:  The participant will be able to prepare a shipment of explosives by ground according to the Canadian TDG regulations.

CONTENT :

• Become familiar with class 1 of the TDG regulations.
• Application  (definition, basis, responsibilities).
• Terminology (units of measures, abbreviations, symbols)of explosives.
• All the 6 divisions of class 1 and the compability groups
• Selection of proper shipping names, alphabetical and numeric lists.
• Packaging segregation rules.
• Marking and labeling.
• Exemptions.
• Shipping documents.
• Canadian TDG requirements.
• Training requirements.
• Emergency procedures.
• Exam.

 

MATERIAL : The participant will be provided  handouts, use of a current edition of the IATA DGR and a training certificate.

CFT CANADA : This training is compliant with national and international standards for shipping dangerous goods by AIR.
